ALLSTYLE DANCE PROGRAM
"CHILDREN SEE MAGIC BECAUSE THEY LOOK FOR IT"

A combination of freestyle, hip-hop, Latin, ballroom, and contemporary dance. This unique program has been specifically designed to provide and develop a wide range of skills in a variety of dance styles.
Fun for boys and girls providing social skills and self-confidence. Promoting good posture, general coordination, and a sense of musicality and rhythm.
Our teaching methods are based on three simple principles,
FUN,
CREATIVITY,
INTERACTION
We aim to inspire and engage the children while providing a solid understanding of classical dance fundamentals, achieving an awareness of posture, poise, line and shape. These core qualities are the building blocks for quality dance movement and motion.

IMAGINATION & INSPIRATION
Occasionally our young academy members will have opportunities to express themselves and get creative. Part of the program promotes use of imagination by inspiring the children to create their own choreography.

Children are encouraged to participate in team, partnered and solo dance exercises at the academy. These can be performed while participating in our supervised team practice sessions, medal tests, theatrical performances, and competitions.

BENIFITS FOR KIDS
Dance classes are not only a great way to keep your children active, they also provide many other benefits.
With guidance, care and encouragement from The Dance Academy JR, we believe every child will have the opportunity to improve their physical and emotional well-being. Discovering through dance, a greater sense of self confidence, and freedom to express themselves.
Dance lessons teach kids discipline and dedication, as it requires them to pay attention and practice. These are skills that children will take away and use at school, and generally later in life.
Dance gives children a greater knowledge and understanding of music and rhythm. Musicality has been linked to higher general intelligence (FSIQ) working memory (WMI) verbal intelligence (VIQ) and attention skills.
Kids that attend dance classes are known to develop a better perception of space, and visual interpretation skills. This leads to a more effective understanding of kinetics and their own movement, resulting in greatly improved coordination skills.
